The Myers Dinner Theatre is located in the quaint town of Hillsboro in west central Indiana. Centrally located in the Wabash Valley, Hillsboro sits in the heartland between Indianapolis, Lafayette, Terre Haute, and Danville, IL.
Hillsboro sits on a river, with small town hospitality and charm. We are proud to be near some of Indiana's most beautiful spaces. State parks with sweeping views, rolling hills, rock formations and even waterfalls are very close.
The annual Covered Bridge Festival in Rockville is 20 minutes away. This area features one of the largest collections of covered bridges in the world (31). The area is absolutely stunning in the fall, but tourism is high throughout the warmer months.
Wabash College is 12 minutes away, and Purdue and Indiana State University are both an easy 45 minutes. We are happy to support the performing arts education process at these institutions.
Indianapolis is just an hour to the suburbs, a few more minutes into the downtown area. Indianapolis is your best bet for air travel. Indianapolis International Airport is located an hour from the theatre.
Catch the train in Crawfordsville (10 minutes) and you can be on your way to anywhere. Chicago is less than 3 hours from our location, giving you the best of the big cities nearby, with room to breathe in the mornings.
Hike the most spectacular of Indiana’s state park trails at Shades or Turkey Run State Parks. Canoeing, horseback riding, swimming, fishing, camping, golfing (3 courses!), antique shopping, or visiting area historical sites are just a few of the options in this lovely area. Do as much or as little as you like in this peaceful little farming community filled with warm and friendly people.
