The musical version of Thornton Wilder’s The Matchmaker is the story of Mrs. Dolly Levi's efforts to marry rich Horace Vandergelder and send his money “circulating among the people like rainwater.” Along the way she also succeeds in matching up nearly everyone else in New York, to hilarious results. Classic musical numbers include the title song, “Put On Your Sunday Clothes,” “Before the Parade Passes By” and “It Only Takes a Moment.”
