That’s a rather curious “Welcome” sign, coming into Hillsboro! Ever wonder who those “old soreheads” are? How do they fit in with not only the present, but the distant past, of this sleepy west-central Indiana town? Music and mystery are combined at the intersection of Water and Main as a group of local actors, the Sorehead Players, try to help the host of the network television show "The Truth As We See It" unravel the mystery of their director's death. Could the answers to the present puzzle be buried in the past? Only by revealing the history of the town will the murderer be caught.
Myers Dinner Theatre regulars Linnéa Leatherman and Michael Moyer are featured along with newcomer Laurie Padgett, an English teacher who has been living in China. Crawfordsville senior Keith James and Indianapolis actor Mike Merrick will alternate as the fourth performer. The clever script is by Indianapolis actress Julie Dutcher and songs include "City Lights," "The Telephone Hour," "Summer Nights," "I Love a Piano" and many more.
