Set in the 1930s, Pastor Oglethorpe welcomes the singing Sanders family to the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, where the audience serves as members of the congregation. The family shares their beliefs and stories during the concert consisting of almost 30 Gospel songs including “Rock of Ages,” “The Church in the Wildwood,” “ Whispering Hope” and “I’ll Fly Away.”
